{"id":14346,"date":"2021-01-19T08:25:57","date_gmt":"2021-01-19T13:25:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/goquest-picks-pair-serbian-dramas\/"},"modified":"2021-01-19T13:45:06","modified_gmt":"2021-01-19T18:45:06","slug":"goquest-picks-up-pair-of-serbian-dramas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/goquest-picks-up-pair-of-serbian-dramas\/","title":{"rendered":"GoQuest Picks Up Pair of Serbian Dramas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>GoQuest Media and the Serbian telecommunications and cable TV operator Telekom Srbija have inked a distribution deal for two new series: <em>Civil Servant\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>Debt to the Sea<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Civil Servant <\/em>is\u00a0a spy thriller produced by Telekom Srbija and Film Danas.\u00a0Directed by Miroslav Lekic and Ivan Zivkovic, the thriller follows a young, ambitious Serbian Secret Service (BIA) agent Lazar Stanojevi\u0107 (Milan Mari\u0107) as he negotiates the rules of the international spy game in the modern world. <em>Civil Servant<\/em> is created and produced by Predrag Antonijevic (<em>Dara of Jasenovac<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p><em>Debt to the Sea <\/em>is\u00a0a mystery drama produced by Telekom Srbija and Monte Royal Pictures International. Directed by Goran Gajic and produced by Bojan Maljevic, it follows as the arrival of a mysterious stranger triggers an unstoppable wave of events for the unnerved inhabitants of a beautiful but deadly Montenegro coastal village.<\/p>\n<p>Paula McHarg, head of Europe and North America at GoQuest Media, said, &#8220;As the New Year sets in, with viewer demand for high-quality series rising, we are excited to team up with Telekom Serbia, which has been a steady leader in the recent boom of premium content emerging from Serbia.
