NBCUniversal has acquired the thriller The Sounds<\/em> from all3media international to air on 13\u00e8me Rue in France.<\/p>\n

The Sounds<\/em> is set in New Zealand\u2019s beautiful but remote Marlborough Sounds. It stars Rachelle Lefevre (Proven Innocent<\/em>, Mary Kills People<\/em>) and Matt Whelan (Go Girls<\/em>, The Luminaries<\/em>). The 8×1-hour drama will launch on 13\u00e8me Rue in January 2021, scheduled for the Sunday night Serial Thriller slot.<\/p>\n

The Sounds<\/em> made its debut in New Zealand on Sky TV in September and on CBC in Canada in October. The series is also presently available on Acorn\u2019s SVOD service in the U.S., Canada and the U.K.<\/p>\n
