Television Group (WBTVG) has secured an exclusive multiyear overall deal with Emmy-winning writer and producer Cord Jefferson (<em>Watchmen<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Under terms of the partnership, Jefferson will create, develop and produce original programming to be produced by the studio, including drama series, comedies, long-form and unscripted projects for all platforms. This includes projects for HBO Max, HBO and other WarnerMedia-affiliated outlets, as well as external streaming services, premium and basic cable channels, and broadcast networks.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement continues Jefferson\u2019s relationship with WBTVG and WarnerMedia, as he most recently was an executive story editor and writer for the Emmy-winning HBO limited series <i>Watchmen<\/i>, produced by Warner Bros. Television.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to <i>Watchmen<\/i>, Jefferson\u2019s writing credits include HBO\u2019s <i>Succession<\/i>, NBC\u2019s <i>The Good Place<\/i> and Netflix\u2019s <i>Master of None<\/i>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Warner Bros.
