{"id":14019,"date":"2020-10-30T09:59:11","date_gmt":"2020-10-30T13:59:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/safehaven-cast-unveiled\/"},"modified":"2020-10-30T16:54:51","modified_gmt":"2020-10-30T20:54:51","slug":"safehaven-cast-unveiled","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/safehaven-cast-unveiled\/","title":{"rendered":"Safehaven Cast Unveiled"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Landmark Studio Group, a Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment company, and ORWO Studios have revealed the cast for the new supernatural thriller series <em>Safehaven<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Belle Shouse (<em>Queen America<\/em>, <em>A Million Ways to Die in the West<\/em>, <em>Secrets and Lies<\/em>), Stephen Moyer (<em>True Blood<\/em>, <em>The Gifted<\/em>, <em>Fortunate Son<\/em>) and Antonio Cipriano (Broadway\u2019s <em>Jagged Little Pill<\/em>) are all set to star in the series, which is to commence production in January in Louisiana. Director Brad Turner and series creator James Seale will both serve as showrunners.<\/p>\n<p>Landmark will market the series, which will be distributed by Screen Media Ventures.<\/p>\n<p><em>Safehaven<\/em> follows complicated high school comic book artist Jenna Frost (Shouse), who must fight to uncover hidden truths after terrifying visions from her drawings come to life, threatening everyone around her. Meanwhile, there&#8217;s John Rayburn (Moyer), the mysterious new school counselor who is determined to save Jenna, and Will (Cipriano), a passionate young man committed to protecting her.<\/p>\n<p>Landmark\u2019s David Ozer said: \u201cWe have an amazing trio of talent on board now to bring <em>Safehaven<\/em> to life.
