Working in partnership with Christian Vesper, president of global drama, and Fremantle\u2019s international team, Shorr will leverage Fremantle\u2019s global network and expertise to support the growth of the scripted slate. He will also oversee negotiations of first-look and talent deals in addition to IP acquisitions in the scripted space.<\/p>\n<p>Shorr, who joined Fremantle in 2017, previously served as the company\u2019s head of legal and business affairs, international co-production. His promotion follows that of Vesper, who was elevated from the post of executive VP and creative director for global drama.<\/p>\n<p>Andrea Scrosati, group chief operating officer at Fremantle, said: \u201cThis is a key role for our scripted business as we focus on international growth.
