It is based on George A. Romero\u2019s classic zombie film. Dynamic has inked its first sales deal for the horror series, with NBCUniversal Networks Germany.<\/p>\n<p>The ten-episode series is from Abbott Street Films and Cartel Entertainment (<em>Creepshow<\/em>). Production is currently underway in Vancouver, with the series expected to premiere in the U.S. on SYFY next year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe never underestimate the value of a brand in galvanizing fanbases, and <em>Day of the Dead<\/em> is one of the most recognizable brands in the genre,\u201d said Daniel March, managing partner for Dynamic. \u201cWe are excited to expand our partnership with NBCUniversal Networks in Germany and look forward to delivering an exhilarating, suspenseful and fun series led by this impressive creative team.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Executive producer Stan Spry said: \u201cDynamic Television not only has a proven track record in the genre, but they are also huge fans and understand this arena better than anyone else.
