Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group) will premiere <em>Professionals<\/em> across the Nordic region on Viaplay. German broadcaster RTLZWEI has pre-bought the free-TV rights to the series, while TNT has picked up the German pay-TV rights.<\/p>\n<p><em>Professionals<\/em> is set in the world of international espionage and corporate sabotage in the 21st century\u2019s privately-funded space race. After an advanced medical satellite explodes on deployment, billionaire futurist Peter Swann and his fianc\u00e9e, medical visionary Dr. Graciela \u201cGrace\u201d Davila, turn to a hardened former counterintelligence officer, Captain Vincent Corbo, who assembles a team of experienced professionals to investigate the incident. They ultimately learn that a combination of Swann\u2019s business rivals, corrupt government officials and a shadowy crime syndicate could be behind the attack and represent a continued threat.<\/p>\n<p>Created by Jeff Most and Michael Colleary, Professionals stars Brendan Fraser, Tom Welling, Elena Anaya, Sa\u00efd Taghmaoui, Ken Duken, Lisa Loven Kongsli and August Wittgenstein. It is a production of Most Media, Subotica, Spier Films and Roadside Attractions in association with Jeff Most Productions, Leonine, NENT Group and The South African Industrial Development Corporation.<\/p>\n<p>Greg Phillips, co-CEO of Rainmaker Content, said: \u201cWe\u2019re excited to team up with Leonine to handle sales on <em>Professionals<\/em>.
