Walter Presents has inked a three-year deal with Poland\u2019s TVN Discovery Group for 28 hours of drama programming to air across the U.S., U.K., Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.<\/p>\n
Part of the package, the legal drama The Disappearance<\/em> (Chy\u0142ka. Zagini\u0119cie<\/em>) follows a couple whose baby goes missing under mysterious circumstances, which forces them to hire a ruthless hot-shot lawyer to clear them as suspects. It is based on a best-selling book by Polish novelist Remigiusz Mr\u00f3z.<\/p>\n The Sins of the Fathers<\/em> (Odwr\u00f3ceni. Ojcowie i c\u00f3rki<\/em>) is a gangster thriller that shines a light on the dark and dangerous activities of the Warsaw Mafia: two men, a retired policeman and a former criminal, must face their past when their daughters\u2019 lives are suddenly put at risk.<\/p>\n In Angel of Death<\/em> (Szad\u017a<\/em>), it is not the identity of the killer that is a mystery, but rather the motives behind his ritualistic killings of young, religious girls.<\/p>\n Walter Iuzzolino, co-founder and curator of Walter Presents, commented: .\u201c.Since the launch of Walter Presents, I have been a passionate advocate and champion of Polish scripted series, which have a unique and very distinctive tone of voice.
