Hall, will return with coroner Jenny Cooper moving past her trauma and embracing her whole self. In the process of healing, she and live-in boyfriend Liam are now separated, while Detective Donovan McAvoy faces his mortality in a new way. Season three is scheduled to debut on CBC and the free CBC Gem streaming service in winter 2021.<\/p>\n<p><em>Coroner<\/em> stars Serinda Swan, \u00c9ric Bruneau, Ehren Kassam, Nicholas Campbell, Tamara Podemski, Andy McQueen and Kiley May. Joining the cast this season are Mark Taylor as Clark, a crown attorney working with Jenny on a new inquest, and Uni Park as Melanie, the coroner office\u2019s new pathologist.<\/p>\n<p>NBCUniversal International Networks acquired the rights to all three seasons of the series for multiple territories from global distributor Cineflix Rights. In Germany, season three will premiere on 13TH Street. The CW Network launched season one of <em>Coroner<\/em> in the U.S., while in the U.K., Coroner airs on Sky Witness. Cineflix Rights has also sold the series to the UK\u2019s Channel 4 for its More 4 channel.<\/p>\n<p>Morwyn Brebner and lead director and executive producer Adrienne Mitchell said: \u201cWe are ecstatic to be returning to <em>Coroner<\/em> for season three! It has been no small feat to resume production amidst this pandemic, and we are truly grateful to the CBC for their support. This season, Jenny and team will continue to explore intriguing cases, as they grapple with our quickly shifting times.
