When a computer virus makes them invisible to others, a woman is recruited to stop its spread. She discovers layers of falsehood, betrayal and conspiracy that need to be lifted to find the truth: rebels are amassing to bring down the world as we know it.<\/p>\n<p>Craig Van Sickle (<em>The Pretender<\/em>, <em>24<\/em>, <em>Tin Man<\/em>) is set as showrunner.<\/p>\n<p>The project originating, which with Mediabiz International, was created by Shawn Whitney (<em>A Brand New You<\/em>). Karine Martin, CEO of both Mediabiz International and Starlings Entertainment, and executive producer Chris Philip, president of Starlings Television, packaged the series for the U.S. and international markets. Martin, Philip, Whitney, Van Sickle, Mediabiz International\u2019s Anne-Catherine Lafaille, Kloiber and NENT\u2019s Josephine Zapata Genetay and Fredrik Ljungberg will executive produce.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have developed Veil as an exciting, cutting edge tech-thriller that explores timely questions like manipulation of the truth in a society driven by technology,\u201d said Martin. \u201cI am thrilled to have such a robust creative, financial and distribution team invested in our project.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Added Philip, \u201cThe outstanding collection of partners we\u2019ve assembled for Veil clearly indicate its global appeal.
