20th Century Fox Television has named Michelle Mendelovitz, who joins from Apple, as senior VP of drama development.<\/p>\n
Mendelovitz will lead the label\u2019s drama team. Together, they will be responsible for setting the label\u2019s drama development strategy, identifying writers and helping to shepherd projects from pitch to series order.<\/p>\n
In the new role, she will be reporting to\u00a0Jennifer Gwartz, executive VP of development for comedy and drama. Mendelovitz joins 20th Century Fox Television from Apple, where she worked as a creative executive since 2018 developing scripted and documentary series for the newly minted Apple TV+ streaming service. She previously worked at Sony as VP of scripted programming.<\/p>\n
