Dick Wolf and Wolf Entertainment have signed a new five-year deal to remain at Universal Television, which has been his studio home for the past 36 years.<\/p>\n
As part of the new agreement, NBC has given three-year pickups to its Chicago<\/em> brand\u2014Chicago Fire<\/em>, Chicago P.D.<\/em> and Chicago Med<\/em>\u2014as well as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit<\/em>, now in its 21st season. The pact also includes multiple series commitments.<\/p>\n Wolf\u2019s deal comes on the heels of his recent deal with NBCUniversal\u2019s soon-to-be-launched streaming service Peacock, where Wolf\u2019s library, including both the Law & Order<\/em> and Chicago<\/em> franchises, will be available.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m gratified and excited that Universal will remain our home for five more years,\u201d Wolf said. \u201cThis new term deal complements our recently concluded agreement to make Peacock one of the primary destinations for both the L&O<\/em> and Chicago<\/em> brands, as well as our extraordinary three-year NBC broadcast pickups on all four current series.
