BBC First has also picked up in the first-window rights for the series in Benelux and Africa.<\/p>\n<p>KI has sold the second-window rights in the Netherlands to the Dutch public service broadcaster NPO, and the first-window rights in Spain to Cosmo TV. In the U.K., Acorn Media International has acquired the home video rights for the six-part series, with KI also selling the home video and digital rights for both Australia and New Zealand to ABC\u2019s Home Entertainment division.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Trial of Christine Keeler<\/em>, written by Amanda Coe and starring James Norton, Sophie Cookson, Emilia Fox, Ellie Bamber and Ben Miles, centers on the infamous \u201cProfumo Affair\u201d political sex scandal. Produced by Ecosse Films and Great Meadow Productions, the series is distributed internationally by Keshet International alongside Endeavor Content in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>Keren Shahar, KI\u2019s COO and president of distribution, said: \u201cIt\u2019s been an honor bringing this stunning drama to market, and it\u2019s no surprise that many partners came on board early, ahead of the series\u2019 debut on BBC One.
