Fremantle has secured deals for The Last Wave<\/em>, a supernatural French drama from scripted producers Kwai.<\/p>\n

The six-part thriller, commissioned by France 2, will launch on the BBC in the U.K., Germany\u2019s ZDF and Spain\u2019s Atresmedia for both linear and SVOD. Created by Rapha\u00eblle Roudaut (Un fils<\/em>, Match Day<\/em>) and Alexis Le Sec, The Last Wave<\/em> is set during a surfing competition in Biarritz as a huge ominous cloud takes over the sky and a jaw-dropping 3-kilometer wave appears.<\/p>\n
