The drama examines the fast-paced circuit of high-powered female divorce lawyers through the lens of three sisters as they navigate complex relationships. The new Korean version of <em>The Split<\/em> is eyed for a 2021 launch.<\/p>\n<p>The new deal follows the 2018 agreement between BBC Studios and JTBC for the Korean version of <em>Doctor Foster<\/em>, which will air in Korea this March on JTBC channel.<\/p>\n<p>Geo Lee, BBC Studios&#8217; senior VP and general manager for northeast Asia, commented, &#8220;British audiences really connected with the interwoven stories at the heart of <em>The Split<\/em> and I am delighted that, together with JTBC, we can bring Abi Morgan&#8217;s powerful and provocative scripts to a whole new audience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Joonsuh Park, CEO of Dramahouse and executive producer of JTBC Content Hub, added, \u201cWe are happy to work with BBC Studios again, to bring the top British drama creativity to the local market and to rebuild it with local flavor.
