It is adapted from the hit series from South Korea and tells the story of Lucas, a professional soldier and captain of the special forces of the Philippine military, and Maxine, a talented and dedicated surgeon\u2014two people brought together by destiny.<\/p>\n<p>Dantes said: \u201cViewers have been waiting for our adaptation of this drama. Story-wise, we did some tweaking to make it suitable for the Philippine setting, while keeping the important elements that endeared the series to the viewers. We\u2019re very excited about this series and we\u2019re very proud of it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mercado added, \u201cWe worked hard in this series, but it was all worth it because everyone in the team put their hearts into the project\u2014from the director to the cast, to the entire production team.
