Red Arrow Studios’ Karga Seven Pictures Turkey is producing a local version of House<\/em>, the medical drama with Hugh Laurie that ran for eight seasons on FOX in the U.S., for Kanal D.<\/p>\n

Titled Hekimoglu<\/em>, the series stars\u00a0Timu\u00e7in Esen in the lead role of Ate\u015f Hekimo\u011flu, alongside\u00a0Okan Yalab\u0131k, Ebru \u00d6zkan, Kaan Y\u0131ld\u0131r\u0131m, Damla Colbay and Ayta\u00e7 \u015ea\u015fmaz.\u00a0It is written by Banu Kiremit\u00e7i Bozkurt and directed by H\u00fclya Gezer, with Karga Seven\u2019s \u00d6mer \u00d6zg\u00fcner and \u00dcmm\u00fc Burhan serving as executive producers.<\/p>\n

Universal Television produced the original series of House<\/em>, which ran from 2004 to 2012 on FOX and was a huge hit internationally.<\/p>\n

\u00d6mer \u00d6zg\u00fcner, CEO of Karga Seven Pictures Turkey, said: \u201cWe have wanted to produce a local version of House M.D.<\/em>\u00a0for many years, and are delighted that Turkey will finally get its own Dr Gregory House, and that his home will be Kanal D.\u201d<\/p>\n
