Kelley and Dean Lorey.<\/p>\n<p>Produced by ABC Studios, a part of Disney Television Studios, the ten-episode series centers on a temperamental college basketball coach (Stamos) who takes a teaching and coaching job at an elite all-girls private high school after getting fired. Brad Garrett (<em>Single Parents<\/em>) pitched the original idea to Kelley and is an executive producer on <em>Big Shot<\/em> alongside Bill D\u2019Elia, who will direct the first episode.<\/p>\n<p>Agnes Chu, senior VP of content at Disney+, said: \u201cJohn is absolutely perfect for this role and we are thrilled that he\u2019ll bring his incredible talent and heart to this project. Disney has long been known for our aspirational sports stories, and we are so proud to be working with David and Dean on a relatable series that both inspires and entertains.
