{"id":12103,"date":"2019-10-14T03:05:54","date_gmt":"2019-10-14T07:05:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/nent-group-renews-honour\/"},"modified":"2019-10-14T03:05:54","modified_gmt":"2019-10-14T07:05:54","slug":"nent-group-renews-honour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/nent-group-renews-honour\/","title":{"rendered":"NENT Group Renews Honour"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group) has commissioned a second season of its hit original series <em>Honour<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The drama explores contemporary themes such as injustice and inequality and set a Viaplay record for the most-watched original premiere ever on its opening weekend in fall 2019. <em>Honour<\/em> season two will premiere exclusively on Viaplay across the Nordic region in 2021.<\/p>\n<p><em>Honour<\/em> season one has been sold to RTL in Germany and VRT in Belgium by Eccho Rights, which will also distribute season two internationally.<\/p>\n<p>Filippa Wallestam, NENT Group&#8217;s chief content officer, said: \u201cThis unsettling and exciting series began as a personal project for four of Sweden\u2019s most talented actresses and has now become a huge success on Viaplay across the Nordic region as well as internationally. The themes explored in <em>Honour<\/em> are very relevant today and clearly appeal to a broad audience, so we are looking forward very much to the next season.
