Casting is underway for filming to begin in the spring of next year in Trollh\u00e4ttan, Sweden. The series will stream on Viaplay in late 2020, with international distribution being handled by Eccho Rights.<\/p>\n<p>Filippa Wallestam, NENT Group&#8217;s chief content officer, noted, \u201cCamilla L\u00e4ckberg\u2019s writing has an unmistakably cinematic style ideally suited to this project. The unique combination of crime drama and soap opera in <em>Hammarvik<\/em> will enable Viaplay audiences to follow richly developed characters and explore multiple storylines\u2014while unraveling a mystery in the best traditions of the Nordic crime genre.
