Fabrik Entertainment has optioned the novel Invisible Monsters<\/em> from Fight Club<\/em> author Chuck Palahniuk and will develop it as a series, marking the first time one of the author\u2019s books has been adapted for television.<\/p>\n

The novel Invisible Monsters<\/em> is centered on a fashion model who has everything\u2014the perfect boyfriend, a thriving career, a loyal best friend\u2014until a sudden freeway accident leaves her disfigured and incapable of speech. She goes from the beautiful center of attention to being perceived as an invisible monster\u2014enter Brandy Alexander, Queen Supreme, one operation away from becoming a woman.<\/p>\n

Fabrik is a Red Arrow Studios company that produces the Amazon series Bosch<\/em> and the upcoming Interrogation<\/em> for CBS All Access. Writer Jennifer Yale is penning the adaptation. Fabrik Entertainment CEO Henrik Bastin and President Melissa Aouate are executive producing. Fabrik Development VP Paul Hilborn, who brought the project to the company, is shepherding the development process.<\/p>\n
