Madeleine Madden has been cast as Egwene Al\u2019Vere, Marcus Rutherford as Perrin Aybara, Barney Harris as Mat Cauthon, Zo\u00eb Robins as Nynaeve and Josha Stradowski as Rand Al\u2019Thor in the series.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Wheel of Time<\/em> was adapted for television by executive producer\/showrunner Rafe Judkins (<em>Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D<\/em>., <em>Hemlock Grove<\/em>). Uta Briesewitz is set to direct the first two episodes.
