The story paints a portrait of erotic longing in today\u2019s America, exposing the fragility, complexity and inequality of female desire.<\/p>\n<p>Also for Showtime, Gal Gadot (<em>Wonder Woman<\/em>) will star in and executive produce an untitled limited series about famed actress and inventor Hedy Lamarr. The series will be written by Emmy nominee and Golden Globe winner Sarah Treem (<em>The Affair<\/em>), who will executive produce with multiple Emmy winner Warren Littlefield (<em>The Handmaid\u2019s Tale<\/em>, <em>Fargo<\/em>), Katie Robbins (<em>The Last Tycoon<\/em>) and Jaron Varsano (<em>My Dearest Fidel<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>The network picked up a second season of its acclaimed drama <em>City on a Hill<\/em>.
