{"id":11644,"date":"2019-07-22T09:26:10","date_gmt":"2019-07-22T13:26:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/more-nos4a2-for-amc\/"},"modified":"2019-07-22T10:09:30","modified_gmt":"2019-07-22T14:09:30","slug":"more-nos4a2-for-amc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/more-nos4a2-for-amc\/","title":{"rendered":"More NOS4A2 for AMC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>AMC is on board for a ten-episode second season of <em>NOS4A2<\/em>, its horror series based on the novel of the same name by Joe Hill, for broadcast in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Currently in its first season on AMC, <em>NOS4A2<\/em> ranks among the top 20 cable dramas in the U.S. and is the number two new basic cable drama among adults 25 to 54 and 18 to 49.<\/p>\n<p>Starring\u00a0Zachary Quinto and Ashley Cummings, the show is executive produced by\u00a0Jami O&#8217;Brien, who serves as showrunner, and Hill.\u00a0AMC Studios in association with Tornante Television produces the series, which is handled internationally by\u00a0AMC Studios Content Distribution.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This otherworldy series makes remarkable work of Joe Hill&#8217;s spine-tingling novel, deftly helmed by Jami O&#8217;Brien and with captivating performances by Zachary Quinto and Ashley Cummings and the rest of the talented cast,&#8221; said David Madden, the president of programming at AMC, BBC America, IFC, SundanceTV and AMC Studios. &#8220;<em>NOS4A2<\/em>\u00a0has kept viewers on the edge of their seats since its debut and we are ready to jump right back into this story for season two.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am so excited for the opportunity to bring the rest of Joe Hill&#8217;s amazing novel to television,&#8221;\u00a0said O&#8217;Brien. &#8220;Joe&#8217;s imagination is unparalleled.
