Frank Spotnitz’s Big Light Productions is teaming up with Games Workshop on a live-action series based on the Warhammer 40,000 games, miniatures and novels.<\/p>\n
Spotnitz will serve as showrunner and executive producer on the series, Eisenhorn<\/em>, which is set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, following Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn and his band of investigators attempting to thwart the schemes of aliens, heretics and demons. Big Light Productions\u2019 creative director, Emily Feller, will also serve as an executive producer on the series. The show will be based on the Warhammer<\/em> novels penned by Dan Abnett.<\/p>\n Spotnitz said, \u201cWarhammer 40,000 is steeped in rich and complex lore, with a myriad of traditions and stories that have accumulated over time in this thrilling and complex world, making it one of the most exciting properties to adapt for television audiences and the franchise\u2019s loyal global fanbase.
