Melanie Scrofano (<em>Bad Blood<\/em>) returns for the lead role as the great-great-granddaughter of famous lawman Wyatt Earp.<\/p>\n<p>IDW Entertainment, SEVEN24 Films, Space (soon to be CTV Sci-fi Channel) and SYFY are working with Cineflix Studios to co-produce. Production on the new season had initially been slated to begin in early 2019, but financial concerns at IDW had left the show in limbo. Fans soon rallied around the hashtag\u00a0#FightforWynonna.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are absolutely thrilled that we get to make more <em>Wynonna Earp<\/em>, and are grateful to our networks and partners for working hard to ensure we can,&#8221; said Emily Andras, showrunner and executive producer. &#8220;This is an enormous testament to our passionate and fierce fans, the Earpers, who remind us every day how to fight like hell for the things you love with wit, ferocity and kindness.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCrave is a service that is always on the lookout for content that makes an impact and resonates with a diverse audience,\u201d said Justin Stockman, VP of premium SVOD and OTT at Bell Media. \u201cWe felt this show still had so much more to say to so many fans, so we put our money where our mouth is to help save this series.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Wynonna Earp<\/em>\u2019s return highlights the importance and value of the unwavering dedication and support of fans,\u201d said Pat DiVittorio, VP of programming for CTV and specialty. \u201cWe are thrilled to continue working with the incredible Emily Andras, the talented cast and our expert production\u00a0partners.
