Every season of\u00a0<em>The Classic Crime Club,\u00a0<\/em>the anthology series being developed by Free@Last TV (the <em>Agatha Raisin<\/em> TV movies) with Quadrant Productions, will encompass eight TV movies, each based on a different book.\u00a0Executive producers are Barry Ryan and David A. Walton for Free@Last TV and Norman Coxall for Quadrant. HarperCollins will also executive produce.<\/p>\n<p>Katie Fulford, special projects director for HarperCollins, commented, &#8220;This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce these classic crime stories to a new generation. The characters and plots featured in these books are timeless and HarperCollins look forward to working with Free@Last TV and Quadrant to bring them to life.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Free@Last TV&#8217;s Ryan noted, &#8220;The enduring appeal of the detective novel and its accompanying television series or film is one of the literary and media marvels of the century.
