She joins a team that includes\u00a0Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson of Color Force. From FX Productions, the show is slated to premiere in 2020.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">Nick Grad, president of original programming at FX Entertainment, commented,\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">&#8220;Eliza Clark is an enormously talented writer and producer whose ambitious vision for <em>Y<\/em> will only enhance the mystique and allure of this powerful story.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Based on DC Comics&#8217;\u00a0<span class=\"s1\"><em>Y: The Last Man,\u00a0<\/em>the series is set in a\u00a0post-apocalyptic world in which a cataclysmic event has decimated every male save for one human. The cast includes\u00a0<\/span>Diane Lane, Barry Keoghan, Imogen Poots, Lashana Lynch, Juliana Canfield, Marin Ireland and Amber Tamblyn.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Clark said, &#8220;A decade ago I devoured the complete <em>Y: The Last Man<\/em> series cover to cover, imagining how it might take shape on screen. It introduced me to the amazing work of Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra and the complex, fascinating world of <em>Y<\/em>.
