David Tennant (<em>Broadchurch<\/em>,<em> Doctor Who<\/em>, <em>Good Omens<\/em>) stars as Tom Kendrick, a doting father to three little girls and loving husband to Kate, played by Anna Madeley (<em>Patrick Melrose<\/em>, <em>The Crown<\/em>, <em>Utopia<\/em>). Cush Jumbo (<em>The Good Fight<\/em>, <em>The Good Wife<\/em>, <em>Vera<\/em>) plays Jess, who used to be a bit of an outsider but moved to Kirkdarroch to make a home with Steve, played by Matthew McNulty (<em>Versailles<\/em>, <em>Cleaning Up,<\/em> <em>The Terror<\/em>), and his kids. The drama\u00a0examines the nature of female friendship and the harmful, entrenched gender stereotypes and conformity that can lead to devastating consequences.<\/p>\n<p>Tennant said, \u201cDaisy Coulam has written something very special, chilling and fascinating with these scripts.
