{"id":11394,"date":"2019-06-05T10:27:17","date_gmt":"2019-06-05T14:27:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/l-s-finest-finds-u-k-home\/"},"modified":"2019-06-05T11:48:07","modified_gmt":"2019-06-05T15:48:07","slug":"l-a-s-finest-finds-u-k-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/l-a-s-finest-finds-u-k-home\/","title":{"rendered":"L.A.\u2019s Finest Finds U.K. Home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sony Pictures Television (SPT) has inked a deal with Fox Networks Group for the U.K. rights to <em>L.A.\u2019s Finest<\/em>, the female-led action series from the universe of Jerry Bruckheimer&#8217;s <em>Bad Boys<\/em> franchise.<\/p>\n<p>The 13-episode series will kick off in July on FOX in the U.K. It stars Gabrielle Union as LAPD detective Syd Burnett, who gets paired up with a new partner, Nancy McKenna, played by Jessica Alba. Taking on the most dangerous criminals in Los Angeles while skirting the rules (and speed limits), Syd and Nancy become a force to be reckoned with\u2014on the streets and in each other\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n<p><em>L.A.\u2019s Finest<\/em> is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television and 2.0 Entertainment in association with SPT.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re excited to have Fox Networks Group on board and think this action-packed series will be a great fit for their audience,\u201d said Holly Comiskey, senior VP of distribution and networks at SPT for the U.K. and Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>Shoshana Wilson, director of programming, scheduling and acquisitions at Fox Networks Group Europe, added: \u201cWith sparkling on-screen chemistry from Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba,<em> L.A.\u2019s Finest<\/em> is a fun and fresh action series that FOX viewers will love.
