The 10&#215;1-hour live-action series will star Adriyan Rae (<em>Light as a Feather<\/em>, <em>Atlanta<\/em>), Tim Rozon (<em>Diggstown<\/em>, <em>Wynonna Earp<\/em>,<em> Schitt\u2019s Creek<\/em>) and Paul du Toit (<em>Maze Runner<\/em>). It is expected to premiere on SYFY in the U.S. in 2020.<\/p>\n<p><em>Vagrant Queen<\/em> is co-created by writer Magdalene Visaggio (<em>Kim &amp; Kim<\/em>) and artist Jason Smith. Jem Garrard (<em>Mech X4<\/em>, <em>Killer High<\/em>, <em>You. Me. Her.<\/em>) serves as showrunner. The show is described as a &#8220;fun, violent and snarky space opera&#8221; that follows Elida (Rae) from child queen to orphaned outcast as she scavenges the treacherous corners of the galaxy, always remaining one step ahead of the republic that\u2019s out to extinguish her bloodline.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Vagrant Queen<\/em> is the best genre script I read in a very long time,\u201d said Daniel March, managing partner for Dynamic. \u201cAs soon as I put it down, I called Lance and told him Dynamic wanted to be his partner.
