{"id":11371,"date":"2019-06-03T09:53:46","date_gmt":"2019-06-03T13:53:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/ture-sventon-detective-series-tv4-c\/"},"modified":"2019-06-03T11:46:32","modified_gmt":"2019-06-03T15:46:32","slug":"ture-sventon-detective-series-for-tv4-c-more","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/ture-sventon-detective-series-for-tv4-c-more\/","title":{"rendered":"Ture Sventon Detective Series for TV4 &amp; C More"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nordisk Film TV Sweden is working on the production of <em>Ture Sventon och Bermudtriangelns hemlighet<\/em> (<em>Ture Sventon and the Secret of the Bermuda Triangle<\/em>) for TV4 and C More.<\/p>\n<p>Based on \u00c5ke Holmberg&#8217;s classic novels, the new six-part series will star Robert Gustafsson as Ture Sventon, the eccentric private detective inspired by Sherlock Holmes. The new series promises a modern twist to the character devised in the 1940s, marking the return of the flamboyant and daring mystery solver with a lisp, false beard and passion for hot cross buns.<\/p>\n<p><em>Ture Sventon<\/em> will be produced by Nordisk Film TV Sweden with support from the Norrk\u00f6ping Film Fund. It will hit screens later this year.<\/p>\n<p>Gustafsson commented: &#8220;The expectations high since Ture is such a beloved character, but I look forward to adding my own twist on the character which I hope will bring both surprise and satisfaction to all fans out there.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ulf Synnerholm, production manager for TV4 and C More, said: \u201c<em>Ture Sventon och Bermudtriangelns hemlighet<\/em> becomes our first family drama and we could not imagine a better project for the job. The combination of Per Simonsson and Stefan Roos with the brilliant Robert Gustafsson guarantee this will be a fabulously exciting adventure for the whole family to enjoy at C More and TV4 later this year. &#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Kristoffer Graci, managing director of Nordisk Film TV Sweden, added: \u201cWe are so happy to work with TV4 and C More on recreating this family classic.
