The Mediapro Studio and Sony Pictures Television (SPT) have entered into a co-development and co-production agreement, the first of its kind between the producers.<\/p>\n

As part of the agreement, SPT is set to produce a 13-episode thriller titled Implacables: Mexico<\/em>. SPT will have distribution rights in the U.S. (including Puerto Rico), Latin America and Canada, and The Mediapro Studio will distribute in the rest of the world.\u00a0The series is based on\u00a035 years and<\/em> Counting, created by Ran Tellem (producer and creator of Homeland<\/em>) and Mariano Baselga. Production is scheduled to begin this summer in Mexico City.<\/p>\n

Implacables: Mexico <\/em>tells the story of four detectives from different generations combining their experience to capture a serial rapist who has evaded the law for 35 years. Believing that his arrest would close the cycle, they discover that the case is just the tip of the iceberg of the largest and most dangerous human trafficking network, against which they must fight.<\/p>\n
