The actor met his wife, actress Marian Rivera, after starring alongside her in the Philippine remake of <em>Marimar<\/em>. Now, as a creative consultant and director for GMA Films, Dantes intends to do more work behind the camera. Details about the <em>Descendants of the Sun<\/em> remake are currently under wraps.<\/p>\n<p>Referring to the remake, Dantes said: \u201cMore than [being] physically prepared, I\u2019m emotionally, spiritually prepared since this is a very special project. I am really happy that GMA entrusted this to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>GMA Network President and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon added: \u201cDingdong is truly one of our home-grown talents.
