With all five of its new series that premiered this season earning a second run, the channel has avoided canceling any of its shows. The CW previously issued renewals for new series <em>Charmed<\/em> and <em>Legacies<\/em>, as well as <em>Arrow<\/em> (season 8), <em>Black Lightning<\/em> (season 3), <em>DC\u2019s Legends of Tomorrow<\/em> (season 5), <em>Dynasty<\/em> (season 3), <em>The Flash<\/em> (season 6), <em>Riverdale<\/em> (season 4), <em>Supergirl<\/em> (season 5) and <em>Supernatural<\/em> (season 15).<\/p>\n<p>Mark Pedowitz, president of The CW, said: &#8220;As we begin to plan for the 2019-2020 season, we&#8217;re thrilled to have this roster of 14 exceptionally creative and distinctive series, including all five first-year shows, as the foundation on which to continue to build the multiplatform future of The CW.
