The two meet when Baba saves Freddy from an attack after a date gone wrong\u2014leading something to ignite in the two, as they soon become killers with DI Lola Franks and DCI Jackson Reid on their trail. The series is due to air exclusively on Alibi in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Philippa Collie Cousins, UKTV drama commissioner, said: \u201cI was so gripped by Gaby\u2019s writing.\u00a0<em>We Hunt Together<\/em>\u00a0is a fresh, funny and dark roller coaster ride with filmic undertones that provide echoes of early Hitchcock or Tony Scott\u2019s <em>True Romance<\/em> and takes the genre one step further.\u00a0Hilary Salmon and the truly brilliant team that she has put together are a joy to work with, and it\u2019s very exciting to be making this show with them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Emma Ayech, Alibi channel director, added: \u201c<em>We Hunt Together<\/em> immediately stood out as a bold and original piece of writing. I\u2019m thrilled that we are bringing it to Alibi as our second piece of original crime drama. Gaby Hull\u2019s script will take viewers on a wild ride that encapsulates the freshness we are looking for as the Alibi brand matures.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hilary Salmon, executive producer for BBC Studios, said:\u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s fantastic to be working with Gaby and UKTV on this daring new drama about what happens when two damaged people collide and act out dormant compulsions. It promises to explore the intoxication of sexual attraction and the dangerous power of emotional manipulation, not one for the faint-hearted.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>BBC Studios Director of Drama Martin Rakusen added: \u201cWe set out with Philippa to discover distinctive, compelling stories to be told and produced by the best of U.K. talent.
