Starz has acquired the eight-episode drama series Dublin Murders<\/em> from Fremantle.<\/p>\n

The series has been adapted from Tana French\u2019s first two novels in the Dublin Murder Squad crime series, In the Woods<\/em> and The Likeness<\/em>. When a young girl is found murdered in a dense wood on the outskirts of Dublin, Rob Reilly (Killian Scott), a smart-suited detective whose English accent marks him as an outsider, is dispatched to investigate with his partner, Cassie Maddox (Sarah Greene). As the case intensifies, Rob and Cassie\u2019s relationship is tested to the breaking point.<\/p>\n

The psychological thriller has been brought to the screen by Sarah Phelps (Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None<\/em>, J.K. Rowling’s The Casual Vacancy<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Dublin Murders<\/em> is coming to Starz in the U.S. and Canada as well as STARZPLAY in Germany, France, Italy and Spain in 2019, with select additional territories to be announced. Fremantle is handling all other rights and territories. The series was originally commissioned by BBC One in the U.K. for RT\u00c9, with support from Northern Ireland Screen.<\/p>\n
