FOX in the U.S. has commissioned an adaptation of the detective drama Witnesses<\/em>, originally produced for France 2.<\/p>\n

In the U.S. treatment, in her first weeks back on the Lexington, Kentucky, police force after a mysterious 10-year hiatus, 35-year-old (yet still a rookie) Detective Sandra Perkins finds herself working the worst homicide the region has seen in over a decade. In order to end this killer\u2019s spree, Sandra must seek answers from Helen Lane, a\u00a0retired homicide detective who should have been Sandra\u2019s mentor, but who is actually the reason Sandra left the force years ago.<\/p>\n
