Scott (<em>Orphan Black<\/em>, <em>Star Trek: Discovery<\/em>), with Malcolm MacRury (<em>Saving Hope<\/em>) as showrunner. The conspiracy series follows the mystery of a passenger plane that vanishes over the Atlantic Ocean.<\/p>\n<p><em>Departure<\/em> is a Canada\/U.K. co-production from Shaftesbury and Greenpoint Productions. The project was developed by Shaftesbury in association with Corus Entertainment and Red Arrow Studios International.\u00a0Starlings Television is to co-finance. Red Arrow Studios International will distribute <em>Departure<\/em> worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s an honor to partner with the talented team at Shaftesbury on this bold, new premium drama, adding to Global\u2019s robust original programming slate,\u201d said Lisa Godfrey, VP of original content at Corus Entertainment. \u201cWe were immediately drawn to the gripping storyline about the conspiracies surrounding the plane crash, and how the plot takes audiences through the investigation as we try to solve this mystery.
