Additionally, Netflix will have a first-look option on Noxon\u2019s feature projects.<\/p>\n<p>Noxon will continue to produce all projects through her production company, Tiny Pyro. Maria Grasso will move to Netflix, as well continuing in her role as president of Tiny Pyro.<\/p>\n<p>Among Noxon&#8217;s recent projects as creator-showrunner are <em>Sharp Objects<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Dietland<\/em>, as well as the first season of\u00a0<em>UnREAL<\/em>. Over the course of her career, Noxon has been of such series as\u00a0<em>Buffy the Vampire Slayer<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Mad Men<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Glee<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Grey\u2019s Anatomy<\/em>. On the film side, Noxon wrote and made her feature directorial debut with the Netflix original film\u00a0<em>To the Bone<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMarti Noxon is a brilliant and visionary creator who explores emotional depths to reveal the inner lives and struggles of complex, modern women,\u201d said Cindy Holland, VP of original\u00a0content at Netflix. \u201cHer work is often both brave and vulnerable, with a distinct voice, sense of humor and tone that is uniquely her own.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Who can resist the allure of Netflix?\u201d said Noxon. \u201cNot only do they continually produce ground-breaking and visually stunning content, they&#8217;ve developed a platform that&#8217;s so influential it&#8217;s become a verb.
