Craig McGillivray, formerly of Breakthrough Films & Television, and Greg Rubidge, president of Syndicado, have launched 10Star Media, a new sales, financing and production company.<\/p>\n

McGillivray will head the new company. Prior to this, he led the distribution division of Canada\u2019s Breakthrough Films & Television and helped sell and executive produce Cruise Ship Killers<\/em>, Breaking Wild<\/em> and Vicious Fun<\/em>. Previously, he worked with Peacock Alley Entertainment as VP of distribution and DHX Media as territory manager.<\/p>\n

Rubidge is currently the president of Syndicado, a VOD distribution company founded in 2009. He started his career in commercial banking, but moved into the film and TV industry, where he has spent the rest of his career at the intersection of entertainment and technology.<\/p>\n

10Star Media will be at Banff with a slate of content ready for sales and presales.<\/p>\n
