Louis Pearson has been promoted to senior director of acquisitions and original film at Quebecor Content.<\/p>\n

Pearson has been director of fiction acquisitions and Qu\u00e9bec film development for Quebecor Content since 2018. Now, he is tasked with acquiring content for the TVA Group, Club illico and Vrai platforms. He will lead the group\u2019s content acquisition team while retaining responsibility for Quebec film development.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith his experience and knowledge of the local and international markets, Louis was the logical choice to lead our acquisitions team,\u201d said Yann Paquet, VP of strategy and international affairs. \u201cIn recent years, he has played a key role in the success of our channels and platforms. Louis\u2019s leadership and solid reputation with our partners, combined with his team\u2019s expertise, will enable us to continue acquiring top-caliber international content in all genres.\u201d<\/p>\n
