Bell Media has picked up a minority stake in Montreal-based Grand\u00e9 Studios to drive the creation of French-language content in Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n
The studio provides production facilities, camera and lighting equipment rentals in Montreal and Toronto, and technical services to the local and international TV and film production industry. It has already been used on Bell Media productions such as Transplant<\/em>, La Semaine des 4 Julie<\/em> and The Song of Names<\/em>, as well as a range of Hollywood movies.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen we started out, Andrew Lapierre, Mitsou G\u00e9linas, Paul Hurteau and I dreamed of one day having a complete service offering that would rival with the big ones and the construction of Grand\u00e9 Studios was a crucial step in achieving this vision,\u201d said Iohann Martin, president of Grand\u00e9 Studios. \u201cThis partnership with Bell Media is a source of pride.
