Quebecor Content has upped Christine Maestracci to the role of VP of acquisitions and international distribution.<\/p>\n

Maestracci was previously senior director of acquisitions. While she will keep responsibility for all content and format acquisitions for TVA Group\u2019s platforms and Club illico, Maestracci will now also have responsibility for international distribution of the original content and formats developed and created by Quebecor Content, in collaboration with local and international partners. She will continue reporting to Yann Paquet, VP of strategy and international business.<\/p>\n

Maestracci joined Quebecor in 2003. She is a lawyer by training and has more than 20 years of experience in entertainment and digital media. She is also currently Chair of the Board of Femmes du cin\u00e9ma, de la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision et des m\u00e9dias num\u00e9riques (FCTMN), Quebec\u2019s WIFT chapter.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn recent years, Christine has played a key role in the success of Quebecor Content, TVA Group\u2019s channels, and Club illico,\u201d said Paquet. \u201cHer leadership, experience, vision and knowledge of the international market will be major assets for our efforts to step up sales of our formats and content around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n
