Corus Entertainment is enhancing its business operating structure and making three additions to its executive leadership team from within the company.<\/p>\n

The new organizational structure includes the promotion of Troy Reeb to the role of executive VP of broadcast networks, in which he will oversee a new portfolio that brings all of Corus’ broadcast networks under one umbrella. Further, regulatory and government relations now will report jointly to Reeb and Dale Hancocks, Corus’ executive VP and general counsel.<\/p>\n

Colin Bohm has been upped to executive VP of content and corporate strategy to oversee Corus’ original content teams\u2014including Nelvana, Corus Studios, Kids Can Press and Toon Boom\u2014in addition to continuing his leadership of strategy and business development at the company.<\/p>\n

Executive VP and Chief Revenue Officer Greg McLelland’s role is being expanded in the restructuring to include marketing and Corus’ social digital agency (so.da), while maintaining his leadership of sales, content distribution, research and consumer insights, and data and advanced advertising.<\/p>\n

Doug Murphy, president and CEO of Corus Entertainment, said: “These changes are an important milestone in our ongoing transformation of Corus. They underscore our commitment to continuously optimize Corus’ powerful portfolio, with a structure built to increase focus on winning with our media business in Canada and growing our content business domestically and internationally. Today’s announcement brings new opportunities to our talented team and creates value for our audiences, clients and shareholders as we position the company to explore new opportunities.\u201d<\/p>\n
