Super Channel has appointed Jenny Hacker as director of programming, while Marlene Lone becomes director of affiliate marketing.<\/p>\n

Hacker will oversee domestic and foreign program acquisitions for Fuse, Heart & Home and Vault, and will be in charge of the development and production of Super Channel’s Canadian productions. She most recently served as VP of content at Diply. Before that, she was director of scripted prime time at CBC.<\/p>\n

In her newly created role, Lone will liaise with the BDU’s marketing groups to jointly develop and implement cooperative marketing strategies, with the aim to increase subscriber growth and retention. She previously was executive producer of in-house productions at Rogers Communications.<\/p>\n

Both positions are based in Toronto and report to Don McDonald, the president and CEO of Super Channel. He commented:\u00a0\u201cI am delighted to welcome both Jenny and Marlene to Super Channel. Together they bring a wealth of industry experience and expertise that will be of great value to Super Channel, our business partners and our subscribers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Grant Campbell, currently director of affiliate sales and marketing at Super Channel, was named director of affiliate sales.\u00a0Carole Ljuden, manager of information technology, moves up to director of IT, while Craig Miller, manager of operations, sees his role expanded to director of operations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
