The Canada Media Fund (CMF) and Telefilm Canada, with CBC\/Radio-Canada, are hosting a group of Canadians who lead some of the country’s major production companies during a session this week in Cannes.<\/p>\n
The panel, titled Showbizz Success in Today’s World, will be moderated by Catherine Tait, president and CEO of CBC\/Radio-Canada. It will see Marie-Claude Beauchamp, president and producer at Carpediem Film & TV; Tassie Cameron, executive producer and co-founder of Cameron Pictures; and Christina Jennings, chairman and CEO at Shaftesbury, discuss how exceptional Canadian companies have positioned themselves within the international community by developing highly innovative business models.<\/p>\n
Showbizz Success in Today’s World will take place on October 16 in the Palais.<\/p>\n
