Yann Paquet has been named VP of Quebecor Content, while Christine Maestracci has been appointed as senior director of acquisitions.<\/p>\n
Paquet will be responsible for brands and content, as well as acquisitions and international development. Paquet has held several positions since joining the Quebecor family in 2011, including as VP of multiplatform content for Videotron and VP of acquisitions and international development for Quebecor Content.<\/p>\n
Supporting him will be Ginette Viens, the VP of brands and content, who is responsible for all original productions developed for the TVA Group and Videotron platforms.<\/p>\n
Maestracci will now lead the team responsible for content and format acquisitions across all platforms, as well as strategic partnerships with major studios and content distributors.<\/p>\n
Additionally, Ariane Lahie\u0300re becomes the director of administration and financing. Her responsibilities will include negotiating content acquisition agreements with the independent production industry.<\/p>\n
A new VP position has been established within TVA Group, which will be filled by Martin Picard. His mandate will be to optimize and intensify the Group\u2019s efforts in terms of leveraging content across all our platforms and developing new business models. Picard has been a member of the TVA family since 2002, and he has 20 years of management experience in a range of positions.<\/p>\n
Picard will be responsible for the management of the programming, communications, marketing and TVA Films divisions. He will be supported by Suzane Landry, senior director of programming; Ve\u0301ronique Mercier, VP of communications; Claude Foisy, VP of marketing; and Carole Labrie, director of acquisitions and sales at TVA Films.<\/p>\n
