He will also continue to oversee the company\u2019s corporate finance and accounting functions. The appointment was effective as of June 30.<\/p>\n<p>McDonald joined Super Channel in 2009 as a financial consultant. In May 2012, he took on the role of executive director of finance and administration before being appointed as COO in September 2016. As COO, he was responsible for redefining the company\u2019s strategic direction and establishing new processes, tools and systems to manage costs and see the company through a restructuring process. He has also been responsible for spearheading a range of new programming initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am delighted that Don will be taking the company forward as the new president and CEO of Super Channel,\u201d said Charles R. Allard, chairman of Allarco Entertainment. \u201cHe has demonstrated tremendous leadership and unwavering commitment to the growth and success of Super Channel in his role as COO.
