Lloyd Ahlquist).<\/p>\n<p>iThentic, Farmhouse Productions and duopoly are producing <em>Epic Studios<\/em> for Maker Studios in association with the Independent Production Fund (IPF) and the Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC). Photography will wrap in early June and the series is set for a September release. The character-driven comedy follows adrift loser and closet rapper Lloyd Steflan (portrayed by EpicLLOYD). He inherits a failing music studio and returns to Toronto to restore the business\u00a0to its former glory.<\/p>\n<p><em>Epic Studios<\/em> was created by Jill Goslicky, Aaron Krebs and Lloyd Ahlquist, co-creator of the online series <em>Epic Rap Battles of History<\/em>. The show was written by Josh Gal (<em>Working The Engels<\/em>) and Amanda Brooke Perrin (<em>Spun Out<\/em>). It is directed by Rob Stefaniuk (<em>Phil the Alien<\/em>, <em>Suck<\/em>, <em>Anxietyville<\/em>).
